Line Set For Full System Air Conditioners

Line sets consist of two semi-flexible copper pipes to connect the outdoor air conditioner or heat pump to the evaporator coil. The smaller diameter pipe is called the liquid line. The larger pipe is referred to as the suction line, and comes insulated. They are Manufactured in accordance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard Specification B280.

We carry line sets for both standard central air conditioning systems and heat pumps, and mini-split systems. (Only available for sale with a mini-split equipment order.)

 For your convenience we have included a chart size for refrigeration lines. To use this chart first measure the length of line set needed to connect your outdoor condenser to the indoor forced air equipment or air handler. Next take the length and look up the correct size diameter line set from the chart bellow. This method will ensure that your system meets the listed SEER rating and capacity.
