The Goodman® GSZ13 13 SEER Heat Pump uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-410A and features operating sound levels that are among the best in the industry. The new Goodman GSZ series heat pumps offer affordable, reliable, and quiet operation, and uses the new refigerant technology. The R-410A is chlorine free to help prevent damage to the ozone layer. With its 13 SEER rating, the GSZ13 will help reduce energy consumption throughout the life of the system.

This unit can give you up to a 14 SEER, when matched with a variable speed furnace or variable speed air handler. A typical 14 SEER system will help save approximately 7% - 8% more than a 13 SEER system. 

 

 

Indoor unit Details:

 

This unit features a check flowrater expansion device (Fixed Orifice) and may be installed in a variety of locations. This air handler operates with an air conditioner or heat pump.  This air handler is shipped with the correct orifice (Flowrater) for this listed match. Instead of a Flowrater a Thermostatic Expansion (TXV) can be used. This accessory is not required for standard operation it provides additional convenience if desired.
