CAPF Series
The Goodman CAPF Cased Upflow/Downflow Indoor Coils are made for split system air conditioners and heat pumps. The coil’s cabinet is painted Architectural Gray. This evaporator coil operates with an air conditioner or heat pump of two different tonnages, the evaporator coil comes factory equipped with an orifice (Flowrater) for the small listed tonnage. If you are matching the evaporator with an air conditioner or heat pump of the higher tonnage, the Flowrater of that tonnage will need to be used. If a new Goodman air conditioner or heat pump is purchased together with the evaporator coil, the correct Flowrater will be provided with that unit. If you are just purchasing this evaporator and are going to match it with a unit of the higher tonnage listed on the description, you will need to purchase the larger Flowrater and install it in the evaporator before start up.

- 17½”, 21”, and 24½” CHPF coils have one 3½” adapter plate
- 17½”, 21”, and 24½” CAPF coils have two 1¾” adapter plates
These coils is not to be use for oil furnaces or any applications where the temperature on the drain pan may exceed 300 deF. If you are going to use these coils on these applications, the factory installed drain pan must be replaced with a high temperature drain pan kits available as a field installed option.
