Important Information:

• 1. These air conditioners are NOT for new installations, but used as a replacement component for existing R22 systems in need of service. 
• 2. These condensers will ship without a refrigerant pre-charge. Instead the system is charge with Nitrogen. 
• 3. These air conditioners come with the power amount of necessary mineral oil. 
• 4. Ensure correct line-set sizes size in accordance with the manufacturer's installation procedures. 
• 5. Ensure that existing air handler coil with piston can accommodate a 13 SEER condensers. If not, replace piston with properly sized TXV.(see #6) 
• 6. If the indoor unit uses a TXV, rather than piston, install a hard-start assist kit. 
• 7. If the previous system experienced a compressor burn-out, the remaining components should be cleaned, or replaced, using generally accepted practices. 
• 8. These condensers ar NOT to be activated until there is a R22 charge in the system. 
• 9. After the piping is complete, the installer needs to release the Nitrogen, evacuated the system to 500 microns, and then charge with R22 according to the charging chart on the installation manual.
