SSZ14 Condenser Product Details:

The Goodman® SSZ14 uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R-410A and features operating sound levels that are among the best in the heating and cooling industry. R-410A is chlorine-free to help prevent damage to the ozone layer. With its 14 SEER rating, the SSZ14 will help reduce energy consumption throughout the life of the system.

This unit can give you up to a 14 SEER, when matched with a variable speed furnace or variable speed air handler. A 14 SEER system will save approximately 7% - 8% more than a 13 SEER system.

AVPTC Multi-Position, Variable-Speed Air Handler:

The Goodman® AVPTC Multi-Position, Variable-Speed Air Handler is suitable for use with refrigerants R-410A. The Air Handler's blower design includes a variable-speed DC motor that allows for a soft start and stop for quieter, more efficient operation and eliminates the cold blast of air upon heating start-up. Using an ECM™ motor, the AVPTC is ideal for new or retrofit applications.

This air handler operates with an air conditioner or heat pump of three different tonnages, The air handler comes factory equipped with a Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) for cooling and heat pump applications.
